6 Best AI Beauty Score Tools 2026 — Reports, Not Verdicts
Choose a face-rating tool by photo privacy, free-scan limits and report usefulness—not a promise to measure objective attractiveness.

On this page
An AI beauty score can satisfy curiosity. It cannot settle whether you are attractive, predict how other people will see you, or justify a medical or cosmetic procedure. The useful comparison is not which app awards the highest number. It is what you get before paying, where your photo goes, and whether the explanation helps with your actual task.
For a one-off experiment, start with a free browser route. For a detailed report or an ongoing routine, examine the paid features and photo policy first. If the goal is choosing a haircut, use a hairstyle try-on tool instead: a visual preview answers a different question from a face rating.
Research boundary: This is desk research from official product pages, developer policies and identified app-store listings, checked October 14, 2026. We inspected public interfaces; we did not upload personal face photos, purchase scans, benchmark scoring accuracy or test advice. Order reflects different use cases, not a tested ranking. Privacy statements below are vendor disclosures, not an independent security audit.
AI beauty score tools at a glance
Start with the two browser routes if you only want a free curiosity check. These quick picks keep the payment, photo and elimination boundaries together on a phone; processing statements are the vendors’ disclosures.
- PrettyScale (.app): browser geometry; free, no account; local browser analysis. Rule out if you need a validated beauty rating.
- Try Face Scale: explainable geometry; free calculator; on-device analysis. Rule out if you want a population percentile.
- PinkMirror: detailed web report; free limited access, detailed report $9.97/month; uploads stored until deleted, training allowed. Rule out if no uploads or no training is a requirement.
- Beauty Score: AI Face Analyzer: iPhone/iPad routine and history; daily free scans, Premium expands access; backend and Face++ process photos. Rule out if analysis must be fully local.
- Umax — Become Hot: male-focused mobile rating; in-app purchases, scan price unverified; face scans may be retained up to one year. Rule out if long retention is unacceptable.
- LooksMax AI — Get Your Rating: male-focused mobile rating; in-app purchases, scan price unverified; cloud processing with stated 30-day retention. Rule out if you will not accept cloud retention.
Dollar pricing refers to the displayed PinkMirror website offer, not a worldwide tax-inclusive quote. App availability and purchases vary by region. Free installation does not prove free access to a complete report. The supporting official links and exact publisher identities are in each section below.
Before uploading: decide what you actually need
Choose one of three jobs:
- A private curiosity check: prefer a route whose policy explicitly says photo processing stays on your device. “No account” alone is not enough.
- An explanation of the score: look for exposed measurements and limitations. More decimal places do not establish scientific validity.
- A routine or style decision: judge the usefulness of the next step, not the rating. A suggested product, procedure or exercise is not validated merely because it accompanies a scan.
Keep the input unedited if you want to explore how the same tool reacts to photos. An AI image editor can alter the features being measured; a higher score on a retouched image says nothing reliable about the original person. A generated portrait is likewise not a suitable baseline for judging your face.
Use only your own adult photo or one you have permission to use. Do not upload identity documents, workplace badges or other people’s pictures to try an app. If repeated scoring feels distressing or starts driving compulsive comparisons, skip this category entirely. No paid “potential” score is necessary to make ordinary grooming or styling choices.
The six options, by decision route
PrettyScale (.app)
Best for: a free, no-account browser experiment without an advertised photo-upload requirement.
This is prettyscale.app, not the older similarly named prettyscale.com. Visit its Pretty Scale calculator: it describes landmark detection followed by geometry calculations, producing a 1–10 result. That is a computer-vision input plus a scoring formula—not evidence that the formula measures universal beauty.
The privacy policy says images and landmarks stay in browser memory and are discarded when you leave. It separately allows ordinary browsing analytics and advertising cookies; local photo processing does not mean zero website tracking.
Skip if: you need a validated measure of attractiveness, a clinical assessment or an independently verified privacy guarantee. We do not adopt the website’s broad “science-backed” and demographic claims as established facts.
.app domain, read the photo policy, then decide whether a formula-based breakdown is enough. Do not upload simply because a different same-name site appears first in search.

Try Face Scale
Best for: understanding what a face-rating number actually represents.
Visit Try Face Scale. Its methodology distinguishes a 0–100 geometry score from a mapped 1–8 PSL estimate range. It publishes the formula, measurement choices and limitations. The PSL mapping is an entertainment convention, not a percentile calibrated against a representative attractiveness-rating dataset.
Its privacy page describes local photo and landmark processing, while model downloads and ordinary web requests still occur. This is a stronger explanation of the processing route, not our proof that the site can run fully offline or is independently audited.
Skip if: you want a definitive social ranking or a medically meaningful face assessment. Transparent formulas make a result inspectable; they do not validate the aesthetic assumptions used to create it.
First elimination test: read the methodology before selecting a photo. If geometry and an entertainment mapping are not what you wanted, stop there. If you continue, record the displayed scoring version; do not treat different versions or apps as one consistent scale.

PinkMirror
Best for: someone specifically seeking a detailed browser report and willing to upload a photo.
The official pricing page separates free access from the detailed report. Explorer’s Pass lists five analyses per month; Member’s Circle lists ten with aesthetics insights. Elite Access displays $9.97 monthly, 50 analyses and the detailed report. Do not assume the free report contains the paid explanations.
The photo policy says photos are private by default, stored until you delete them, and may be used to train or improve machine-learning models. Deleting a photo removes it immediately from the UI; deletion from backups is completed within 30 days. These are materially different terms from no-upload processing.
Skip if: no cloud upload or no model-training use is a hard requirement. The vendor’s “objective” or “unbiased” report labels are not an independent validation of attractiveness or clinical usefulness.
First elimination test: inspect the free output and a report example before subscribing. Pay only if the additional explanations answer a question you have—and only after accepting the photo-use policy. A large analysis allowance is not a reason to keep rescoring yourself.
Beauty Score: AI Face Analyzer
Best for: iPhone/iPad users who want routine prompts and locally stored result history alongside a rating.
Match the App Store listing to developer duc tran / zzStudio. It advertises daily free scans; Premium adds unlimited scans, watermark-free cards and an ad-free experience. Monthly, yearly and lifetime purchase options are listed; check the selected regional offer rather than assuming an annual plan saves money.
The developer policy says the photo goes to its backend and Face++ for analysis; only resulting attributes go to Groq for recommendations. It says results are stored locally and photos are deleted shortly after processing, without giving an exact hourly deadline. Local result history is not local photo analysis.
Skip if: you require no photo transmission, or want a skin diagnosis rather than app-generated suggestions. We have not verified the accuracy of skin, age, emotion or “potential” claims.
First elimination test: check the photo consent and daily-scan allowance before scanning. Only consider Premium if its access or export benefits—not a promised improvement in your score—are worth the displayed price.
Umax — Become Hot
Best for: adults considering a male-focused mobile face-rating and suggestion workflow, with cloud processing acceptable.
com.umax.tech. Its current description emphasizes men and says recommendations are not medical advice. Other Umax-named products are not automatically the same service. The listing confirms in-app purchases, not a verified free full scan or a current worldwide scan price. The linked publisher privacy policy says face scans may be kept for access to previous results, up to a maximum of one year. That retention boundary matters more than generic encrypted-in-transit language.
Skip if: a long retention window is unacceptable, you need a verified free report, or you expect a general styling tool for every user.
First elimination test: before paying or submitting a selfie, find the charge for the first analysis, subsequent scans and any renewal. If you cannot establish the total cost of the workflow you want, choose a free browser route instead. We did not purchase a scan to verify checkout behavior.
LooksMax AI — Get Your Rating
Best for: adults comparing another male-focused mobile route and willing to accept an explicit cloud-retention period.
com.looksmax.ai. It offers a rating and appearance suggestions with in-app purchases. We could not verify a current complete-report price from the public official listing; check it in your region before uploading or paying. The official privacy policy says uploaded face data is retained on servers for 30 days, then automatically deleted. It also describes deletion through settings or support. A shorter stated window than Umax’s does not establish a more secure service or better score.
Skip if: you require no server storage, a verified free scan, or independently validated recommendations.
First elimination test: confirm that the installed app’s publisher, policy and purchase screen match these identifiers. Then check whether the actual report and deletion controls meet your requirements. Do not copy the price or privacy promise of a different “LooksMax” app.
What we left out—and why
com.golden.ratio.face, was checked rather than silently omitted. Its official store listing links differing privacy destinations in its description and support section, while the data-safety declarations do not establish a clear no-upload route. We left it out rather than fill in missing processing details. This is an evidence limit, not a finding that the app is unsafe.Hiface is an adjacent option: its official face-shape page focuses on identifying face shape and matching styles. That can be useful, but it is a different task from choosing a score/report service. We also avoided merging legacy PrettyScale.com and similarly named Umax or LooksMax apps into the identified products above.
A ten-minute decision check, not an accuracy benchmark
Before choosing an app, write down what would make its output useful. “I want to understand its measurements” is concrete; “I want proof that I look good” is not something these products can supply.
- Read the photo route, retention and deletion terms before uploading.
- Establish what is available free and the cost of the exact report or repeat-scan workflow you want.
- If you proceed, use an unfiltered, front-facing adult photo with even lighting; follow that tool’s own input instructions.
- Look for explanations and limitations, not just a score. Variation with pose or lighting should not be interpreted as a change in personal worth.
- Stop if you are buying repeated scans mainly to chase a different number.
For a creative profile image, our AI portrait generator comparison covers image creation rather than rating a real face. Do not submit a synthetic portrait as evidence of your appearance.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI beauty score tool is free without an account?
PrettyScale (.app) advertises a free, no-account browser calculator. Try Face Scale also offers a free browser route. Read the exact domain’s photo policy first; do not assume every same-name app has the same terms.
Which option keeps my face photo on my device?
PrettyScale (.app) and Try Face Scale describe in-browser photo processing. These are vendor statements, not our network or security audit. Website visits and model downloads may still generate ordinary network requests.
Are AI beauty scores accurate or comparable between apps?
We have not benchmarked them. A system can calculate landmark geometry without establishing a universal attractiveness score. Different formulas, versions and photo conditions mean that a 7 in one app cannot be treated as equivalent to a 70 in another.
Does a free download include the complete face report?
Not necessarily. PinkMirror gates its detailed report behind the paid plan, while mobile listings may offer free installation with in-app purchases. Confirm the report, repeat-scan allowance and renewal terms before paying.
Should I pay for a score before changing my hairstyle or skincare?
No score is required for a hairstyle choice. A try-on preview is a more direct way to explore a haircut. Do not use an app’s skin label or rating as a diagnosis or a reason to pursue a procedure.
